Does anyone have any info.on Emily and Hilda Maude Burley at Hallam Hall 1911 ? They are my grandmother's nieces.I'd love to trace them.
ReplyDeleteI'M PRETTY SURE THE LADY IS COOKIE !
ReplyDeleteIt is Cookie, she came to stay with us every summer when I was growing up. She was a close friend of my mum ‘Lavender’ who was born in 1918 and was an ‘orphan’ at St Mary’s in Broadstairs and then for most of her life, at St Edith’s, until she went into service, before marrying our dad at St John’s in September 1941.
